Therapy sessions cost $160 for an individual 50 minute session. Family or couples sessions are $200 for 50 minutes. Please know that most insurance companies accept a "Superbill" for reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts vary and are determined by the insurance company. Once payment is provided in full, I am happy to provide a "Superbill" for you to submit.

I am currently paneled with most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. Your copay will vary depending on plan type and deductible. I also offer "Superbills" for those who carry an insurance that I am not paneled with, but would like to explore reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts vary and are determined by the insurance company. Going to therapy the first time can be intimidating and relieving all at the same time. Our first session begins with you sharing some of your story and what brought you to counseling. You might spend a lot of time talking or asking questions. I'll listen to you and together we'll begin to explore some of the issues effecting your situation. Towards the end of our session, we'll make a plan for future sessions and moving you along in your healing.

It's difficult to say. Most clients spend 1-2 years in therapy, but sessions usually come in chucks of 6-8 weeks. I want to work with you and your finances to get you the best care possible.

Everything you say is completely confidential. I won't be sharing it with your spouse, parents, pastor, or employer. What is said between us, stays between us. Of course, I do care about your safety. Anytime I feel that you and someone else is in danger, I am obilgated to let the proper people know.

A sliding scale is a reduced rate offered to clients when there is a financial need so that therapy is more affordable. If you would like to start therapy, but finances are limited, please contact me about my sliding scale availability. If my sliding scale slots are full, I can put you on a waiting list until a spot opens up, or provide you with referrals to other therapists that might offer a reduced rate. I accept cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, flexible spending accounts, and health savings accounts. Please bring the exact amount if paying with cash.

There is no charge if you cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice. You will be charged the full price for the session if less than 24 hours notice is given. The only exception is if there is an unforeseen medical emergency or natural disaster.

Yes! Both phone and video services are available. You will be charged the same rate as a 50 minute therapy session.
